What is the initial franchise development fee?

Store 1 - $45K
Store 2 - $40K
Store 3 - $35K

What is the royalty?

The royalty is 6% to be paid twice per month.

What is the required advertising expenditure?

The required advertising expenditure is 1% - 3%.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The term of the agreement is 10 years with options to renew.

Who finds the location?

We provide you with in-depth site criteria in the pre-opening manual. It’s your responsibility to select and develop a franchise restaurant location; it’s our responsibility to approve the location before you execute a lease.

What licenses and/or permits are required?

This depends on your city and state, but you’ll most likely have to obtain a Board of Health permit to operate the business. This permit may be required by the municipality as well as the county. We also require you to have a ServSafeⓇ certificate and will provide you with the information necessary to obtain it.

Where do the food and packaging products come from?

To maintain consistency and quality at our fast casual restaurants, we select the vendors and provide you with their contact information.

How long is the franchise training and development program?

7-10 days for the operating partner, plus one week on-site for store opening.

How much does a fresh&co franchise restaurant cost?

The estimated initial investment will be in the range of $603,665 to $1,314,500. That range is wide because of unknowns such as whether or not the chosen final location was a pre-existing restaurant or whether the landlord will make a contribution in the form of a tenant’s allowance.

Does fresh&co provide financing?

We don’t provide financing, but can discuss investment options with you in detail once we get a clear sense of your financial position and objectives. We also have referral companies that we work with regularly and can direct you to.

Do I need restaurant experience to be successful?

Restaurant experience isn’t necessary, but we do prefer candidates with proven success in business and management, and solid financial acumen. Being community-oriented, having great communication skills and demonstrating a hands-on attitude are all welcome and highly valued during franchise training!

How many franchise restaurant locations do I need to open?

Generally requires a minimum of 3 units.

Will I receive continuing franchise restaurant training, development, and operational guidance?

Absolutely! Our operating systems and training program are well established, streamlined, and effective. We also have an experienced development team in place and ready to support you.
